Règle
En français, il existe trois façons principales de poser une question.
On garde la phrase normale et on monte la voix à la fin.
You keep a normal sentence and raise your voice at the end.
On ajoute est-ce que avant la phrase. C’est clair et fréquent.
You add est-ce que before the sentence. It is clear and common.
On inverse le verbe et le sujet. C’est plus formel.
You invert the verb and the subject. It is more formal.
Pourquoi ? = why
Où ? = where
Quand ? = when
Comment ? = how

Astuce anglophone
En anglais, on veut souvent garder le même ordre des mots. En français, ce n’est pas toujours possible.
❌ Est-ce que pourquoi vous partez ?
✅ Pourquoi est-ce que vous partez ?
❌ Est-ce que vous allez où ?
✅ Où est-ce que vous allez ?
Rappel : avec est-ce que, le mot interrogatif vient avant.
